Opening Day Swoonworthy Sips + Nibbles
We're hard at work prepping for Del Mar's favorite event of the year: the Opening Day After-Party at L'Auberge. Just 27 days to go...so, pick up that perfect party dress and snag those tickets before they sell out!
Thirst not, party-goers. Lead Mixologist extraordinaire, Darby Kelly (spot his Hibiscus Capirinha in San Diego Magazine's upcoming July issue), will be serving up his sweetest libations on the big day. Featuring handcrafted organic syrups and fresh fruit, these cocktails are not to be missed.
It simply wouldn't be Opening Day without a L'Auberge Julep, created with Woodford Reserve, cassis, fresh mint and blackberries. And, our personal go to, the Paloma Caballero, is a sip of summer with Cazadores Silver Tequila, a squeeze of lime and Ting Grapefruit.
Foodies will be swooning over noshworthy nibbles from KITCHEN 1540. From Dim Sum to one of last year's favorites, Chef Paul's signature Fish Tacos, these dishes will certainly be a treat for your tastebuds.
