We love Petite Pooches!

Our love of petite pooches began with a little lady named Buttercup. We found her lost and wandering the grounds of L'Auberge during our renovation, so we took her in and fell in love with her pretty much immediately. When we heard that Buttercup's Mom was looking for her, however, we quickly delivered her to her rightful owner. We were happy to help reunite Buttercup and her Mother, but we were more than a little sad to see her go. As we loved this little pooch so, her Mom promised that once Buttercup had babies of her own one of them would become ours. A year went by, L'Auberge reopened, and one day we received a little present from Buttercup: a tiny pooch named Sofie! Ever since that day, Sofie and L'Auberge have become inseparable.

Since her arrival at L'Auberge, Sofie has been one busy pet! She has worked tirelessly with L'Auberge's leadership team to allow petite, lovable pooches like herself to stay with their owners when visiting L'Auberge.

Sofie's favorite spots.

While Sofie's favorite pet friendly place to lounge is L'Auberge, sometimes a girl needs a little adventure. She also loves to visit the Torrey Highlands Dog Park or take a dip at Dog Beach, both of which are just a short stroll from our pooch friendly California hotel and are the perfect place for a bit of exercise. Or if she's feeling like a treat, Sofie loves to stop at Three Dog Bakery or Dexter's Deli, both of which are right in Del Mar village. Sofie's pretty sure that all of her four-legged friends will love these spots, too!
