Love from Guests
"I just wanted to drop you a quick email and inform you of our recent visit to your hotel in Del Mar. We have stayed with you before and really loved the hotel so decided to once again take the two hour drive from LA for a little break.
I have to say working in the film industry I have had the pleasure of visiting many many amazing hotels all over the world and I have to say I found staying with you among the best. From the moment my fiance and I arrived we felt so welcomed. We sat in the bar area and ordered a glass of Champagne. Before we arrived at the hotel we had taken our dog for a walk on the beach. As it was pretty cold day, the dog was shivering. The bar tender on duty took it upon himself to kindly bring us over some towels to dry him off.That was such a kind gesture.The room was very comfortable and a lovely balcony. My fiance then checked herself into the Spa for a few hours and said the service she received from the receptionist was warm and friendly, her therapist, Brittan, was first class. She proceeded to tell me it is the best treatment she has had in many years, and Brittan made the experience so much more than many other Spas, and it was worth the two hour drive just for the treatment alone.
We then joined you for dinner at Kitchen 1540. Once again, Flawless. The service was amazing, friendly, and the food exquisite.
I look forward to staying with you in the very near future. Once again thank you for such a amazing experience."

Freshest Addition to KITCHEN 1540
Sous Chef Steve Molina brings a fresh twist to the table at KITCHEN 1540. A Los Angeles native, he studied classic French cuisine and techniques at the San Diego Culinary Institute. Molina got his first true taste of the kitchen under Chef Pascal at Savory in Encinitas. After 3 years at KITCHEN 1540, Executive Chef Paul McCabe has been an inspiration and mentor, helping him grow into the chef that he is today. Molina explains that his passion for cooking happened organically...must be why he's perfect for KITCHEN 1540.
