In the spirit of new beginnings, L’Auberge Del Mar will debut its all-new breakfast menu in KITCHEN 1540 on Easter Sunday. The new menu is the next step in the evolution of food and beverage offerings at L’Auberge Del Mar since the arrival of Executive Chef Scott Thomas Dolbee last April. Remaining true to his style, Dolbee’s breakfast menu is modern and playful with a bit of the unexpected.
“Breakfast is the first meal of the day and Easter is all about rebirth, so we thought it a perfect time to share the new menu with our guests,” says Dolbee. “Guests will delight in a menu that is fun, trendy and very progressive like the other menus we’ve recently introduced at the hotel.”
From lite and simple to savory and sophisticated, KITCHEN 1540’s new breakfast menu caters to all tastes and desires. For inspiration, Chef Dolbee simply turned to what he likes to eat such as lobster benedict, breakfast pizza and German apple pancakes. Other standout menu items include egg white frittata, brioche French toast, fried egg BLT, buckwheat waffles and a healthy acai bowl.
The a la carte breakfast menu is offered daily from 6:30 to 11:00 a.m. in KITCHEN 1540. But this Easter, enjoy breakfast all day from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Waterfall Terrace Easter Brunch
At Waterfall Terrace, Easter brunch includes a selection of traditional stations from fresh juices and pastries to eggs, salads and breakfast sweets. Also featured is a carving station with maple roasted leg of lamb and roasted chicken breast, as well as a cold seafood station with popular delicacies such as oysters on the half shell, smoked salmon with American caviar and poached shrimp.
