The Highly Anticipated L’Auberge Del Mar Presents 2008 Leisure Packages

Del Mar, California (January 2008) The highly anticipated L'Auberge Del Mar, currently undergoing a comprehensive renovation, will open in June with several pampering packages to immerse guests in the relaxed elegance of its coastal estate environment. With top-notch accommodations and discerning services, this premier Southern California seaside resort has packages that are sure to please even the most discriminating travelers.

Wining and Dining Connoisseur Package

For epicureans and wine lovers, L'Auberge Del Mar will offer the Wining and Dining Connoisseur Package. This two-night package includes plush guest room accommodations, a special wine tasting for two and discussion with the resort's wine barista on the night of arrival. On the second night, guests will enjoy a private wine dinner with a menu and wine parings prepared by the property's Executive Chef Paul McCabe. Prices for double occupancy start at $575 per night for Sunday through Thursday, and $595 per night Friday and Saturday*. Resort fees, taxes, parking and gratuities are included.

Romantic Retreat Package

For those touched by Cupid's arrow, L'Auberge Del Mar will offer the Romantic Retreat Package. This package includes accommodations in one of the resort's luxurious guestrooms, in-room champagne and strawberries upon arrival and dinner for two at the resort's new signature restaurant and valet parking. Prices for double occupancy start at $475 per night for Sunday through Thursday, and $495 per night Friday and Saturday* including parking, resort fees, taxes and gratuities.

The Pampered Pooch Package

For guests traveling with their four legged friends, L'Auberge Del Mar will offer a deluxe Pampered Pooch Package. While L'Auberge guests enjoy the luxury of one of the resort's elegant guest rooms and two 50 minute massages in a private poolside cabana, their beloved pet will be treated to a VIP Canine Suite at the renowned Helen Woodward Animal Center in nearby Rancho Santa Fe. Included in Fido's weekend of decadence is an essential oils massage, special bathing session, grooming and style with hair accessories, teeth cleaning and a manicure/pedicure with polish. A contribution to the Center will help in its mission to support orphaned animals in need. Your pampered pooch will also receive a $25 gift certificate to Dexter's Deli of Del Mar, a popular local boutique for dog lovers and their furry friends, and for the ultimate in opulence, our Executive Chef Paul McCabe, will personally select treats for your pup during his stay. To remember their weekend with Fido, guests will also receive an exclusive family portrait session. Rates for this dog-friendly package, including resort fees, package taxes and gratuities, start at $1210 per night for a Sunday through Thursday stay and $1240 per night for a Friday or Saturday stay*. Seaside Spa Escape Package

Experience true bliss with the L'Auberge Seaside Spa Escape Package. Rest, replenish and nurture your body with a relaxing stay in one of the resort's peaceful guestrooms and two 50-minute massages in their tranquil spa. Massage choices include therapeutic, shiatsu or Swedish. Double occupancy rates start at $540 per night for a Sunday through Thursday stay, or $570 per night for Friday and Saturday visits*. Resort fee, parking, taxes and gratuities are included.

Bed and Breakfast Coastal Getaway Package

For the traveler looking for a swift getaway in the heart of beautiful Del Mar Village, L'Auberge is offering its Bed and Breakfast Coastal Getaway Package. This package includes guest room accommodations and a delicious breakfast for two. Prices start at $380 per night for a Sunday through Thursday visit and $410 per night for a weekend stay, including parking, resort fee, taxes and gratuities*.
