SPA L’AUBERGE WELCOMES FALL WITH A “SWEET EMBRACE”
New Spa Director Brings Touch of the Islands to Del Mar
L’Auberge Del Mar’s new spa director, Misty Stewart, is embracing her move from Hawaii by bringing a bit of Hawaiian hospitality to Del Mar. This fall, spa-goers can indulge in the Sweet Embrace, a body treatment that incorporates the healing properties of papaya and pineapple, the international symbol for hospitality. Through December, the treatment will be offered at a special price of $155 per person.
“I’m excited to welcome guests with a results-oriented treatment that incorporates a bit of my recent background as well,” said Stewart. “I look forward to introducing other new treatments soon and continuing to make Spa L’Auberge a Del Mar favorite for spa goers.”
The Sweet Embrace includes a full-body Papaya-Pineapple Salt Mousse scrub that gently polishes the skin and removes toxins and impurities. As the salt dissolves, negative ions and repairing tropical fruit extracts are quickly absorbed, leaving the skin velvety smooth. The scrub is followed by a luxurious, wrinkle smoothing Crème Fraîche Body Wrap that combines milk protein to soften the skin and lactic acid to acts as a mild exfoliant. While wrapped, guests enjoy a choice of either a head/neck or foot massage.
The body wrap is followed by a relaxing massage with Ligne Tropicale De-Aging Body Balm formulated with emulsified Shea Butter enriched with collagen and elastin polypeptides and micro-spheres injected with retinol. The body emerges feeling wonderfully replenished and visibly repaired.
The Sweet Embrace is offered at $155 (regularly $175) through December 31, 2012. For reservations or more information, call 858-793-6493 or visit www.laubergedelmar.com.
