Todd Nelson began playing tennis at the young age of 10. Raised in San Diego, he developed a passion for the sport and competition early on. As his skills progressed, he started to compete in tournaments by age 14, upon entering high school.

Todd debuted on the ATP Men's Tennis Tour in 1982 after attending college at Arizona State University. During his 14 year professional career, he traveled the world competing in all levels of tournaments in 30 countries, playing in over 340 ATP Tour events and appearing in 32 Grand Slam Tournaments. He also participated in seven French opens, eight Wimbledons and 11 U.S. Opens.

Todd has achieved his childhood dream and goal of one day being a professional athlete, ranked among the top 100 in the world and competing with the very best in all the major tournaments. At an all time career high, he was once ranked 58 in ATP Singles and 48 in ATP Doubles.

He has had the pleasure and privilege to compete against multiple highly acclaimed and ranked tennis players including Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, John McEnroe, Bjorn Borg, Yannick Noah and Ivan Lendl, just to name a few.
