For anyone with something to celebrate throughout the year, KITCHEN 1540 is party central and the L’Party Planners are ready to help with everything from theme ideas and decorations to photography for events up to 100 people.

The L’Party Planners provide an intimate knowledge of the menu and setting and have the creativity to make any occasion full of revelry and fun. While the menu is always fresh, diners will find that the restaurant’s philosophy of plentiful portions and contemporary-chic sophistication. Indoor Seating, Please
For larger parties (up to 42), guests can book up to one half the interior of the restaurant. The modern and comfortable setting blends energy and intrigue with a fresh, simple atmosphere. KITCHEN 1540 boasts white vaulted ceilings, an elegant fireplace and modern furniture offering a level of contemporary-chic sophistication rarely seen in a resort restaurant.
A Table Under the Stars
The spacious outdoor patio allows guests to enjoy the ocean breezes and features private cabanas for intimate dining. The setting is punctuated with a waterfall and hanging lanterns to set just the right mood.
Private Wine Room
A private dining room wrapped in wine-encased walls provides a quieter, more intimate setting for parties of up to 10 people.
Exclusive To The Private Wine Room
The Kitchen Sink Tasting Menu is the latest creation by Executive Chef Scott Thomas Dolbee. Fittingly named, the menu essentially allows diners to sample nearly everything on the menu, or as the chef says “everything but the kitchen sink.” Described as a 4x5 tasting menu, Kitchen Sink features four courses of five dishes per course. Served family style, guests will be “blown away by all kinds of flavors,” according to the chef.
“One of the unique things about Kitchen Sink is that, unlike most tasting menus which feature one-time specials, it is a tasting menu entirely made up of items that are on our regular dinner menu,” said Dolbee. “So, if a guest really enjoys something, they are able to come back to the restaurant and order it for their meal.”
The Kitchen Sink menu is available in the Private Wine Room for a maximum of 10 people Sunday through Wednesday. The menu is priced at $85 per person or $150 if paired with wines.
A proponent of slow food and utilizing fresh, local, sustainable products, Dolbee’s menu highlights San Diego’s diverse culinary landscape by showcasing regional products in sections- raw, artisan, cure, coastal, inland and sidekick. Inspiration for each dish not only came from the products available, but also from Dolbee’s culinary passions and nostalgia.
