Blissful views of the Pacific Ocean are the backdrop for L’Auberge Del Mar’s popular annual Easter Brunch, this year offered at three outdoor locations including Waterfall Terrace, Sunset Terrace and Pacific Terrace, ideal seating to accommodate large parties. Chef Fortune has delivered an enticing new menu with dishes that showcase his progressive, youthful style- a unique blend of both modern and retro with influences from his many passions including music, auto racing and a love of the South. Easter Brunch features:

Live Action Stations including:

  • Seafood:  Hand Rolled Sushi, Sashimi, Shucked Oysters, Shucked Clams and Mexican Shrimp Cocktail, Ceviche with tostadas, House Smoked Salmon or Albacore
  • Salads:  Made to order Spinach, Mixed Greens or Romaine and Caprese, Sliced Fruit & Berries
  • Street Tacos:  Carne Asada, Carnitas, Blackened Fish
  • Carving: Stuffed Pork Loin, Slow Roasted Beef Tenderloin
  • Eggs:  Your Way, Omelet, Poached (Sous Vide)
  • Pancakes: Choice of: Blueberry, Chocolate Chip
  • Desserts: Berry Trifles, Pecan Bread Pudding. Assorted Mini Desserts and Petit Fours

Buffet Stations:

  • Herb Roasted Potatoes, Hash Browns, Pork Sausage, Chicken Apple Sausage, Bacon, Scrambled Egg, regular and whites
  • Bread Station: Mini Bagels, Danishes, Dinner Rolls, Toast (Toaster)

Easter Brunch Pre Fixe in KITCHEN 1540

For those who prefer Chef Fortune has created an Easter menu with some serious 1540 signature flair. The three-course menu features select choices of:

First Course: Berry Parfait, Steel-Cut Oatmeal, Lobster Bisque, Caprese Salad, or Local Red Romaine

Second Course:

Two Eggs any way with skillet potatoes or hash browns, country sausage, smoked bacon or chicken-apple sausage

Egg White Frittata with broccolini, roasted onions, smoked salmon & wild arugula and California goat cheese

Easter Day Omelet with Spring peas, tomatoes, spinach, feta and avocado

Brioche French Toast with chocolate ganache, strawberries, candied orange zest and Chantilly cream

Steak ‘n’ Eggs - Petit Filet with 2-Eggs any way, grilled asparagus and Béarnaise

Pan-Seared Scottish Salmon with creamy polenta, brussel sprout leaves, oven-dried tomatoes and Chimmichurri

Third Course: Mini dessert buffet with assorted seasonal baked goods.

Foodies Delight Easter Getaway Package

For an unforgettable Easter getaway, guests can book the “Foodies Delight” package. No egg-hunting mayhem here, just breathtaking ocean views, mouthwatering cuisine and plush guest rooms.
