NEW NATIONAL SALES MANAGER NAMED FOR L'AUBERGE DEL MAR

Desiree Weyls Joins L’Auberge Del Mar Sales and Marketing Team

SAN DIEGO – Desiree Weyls, most recently a senior sales manager for Evans Hotels, has been named national sales manager for L’Auberge Del Mar, the popular seaside resort located just north of San Diego.

In her new position, Weyls oversees the hotel’s national sales outreach, concentrating on key U.S. markets including the Northeast, Orange County and Arizona.

Weyls brings an impressive industry past performance to the 121-room resort located in the heart of Del Mar, with over ten years of experience in group and catering sales. She spent six years with Evans Hotels, where she directed national sales in various markets focusing on corporate and association markets as well as third party development while significantly contributing to the growth and profitability of both the Catamaran Hotel & Spa and Bahia Resort Hotel.

She has contributed her sales savvy to the San Diego Marriott Marquis & Marina, San Diego Courtyard by Marriott and Hampton Inn San Diego Airport/Sea World. Her industry credentials include being San Diego Tourism Authority Meeting Certified and earning the HPN Global Onsite Sales Manager of the Year Award.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in fashion merchandising from California State University, Long Beach.
