The Facts:
We have nine meeting rooms. The largest is approximately 2,496 sq.ft. Combined, we offer approximately 16,545 sq.ft., of which approximately 7,559 sq.ft. is indoors and approximately 10,010 sq.ft. is outdoors, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. We also offer 121 total guest rooms, with 7 suites, 89 king rooms, and 25 double rooms.

Ruby Room
Approximately 1,009 square feet | up to 50 guests
With high vaulted ceilings and an abundance of natural light, this room is perfect for up to 50 guests in a meeting setting or 100 guests for a reception. The room connects to a large patio with a stunning built in firepit, market lights and a water feature.
Ruby Patio
Approximately 1,560 sq.ft. | Up to 125 Guests
Tucked comfortably off of Ruby Room sits our beautiful outdoor terrace, made specially for intimate gatherings under the California sky. Accommodating up to 125 guests, Rubio Patio beckons you to meet around the warm glow of its modern built-in fireplace. The space features plush sitting furniture, a tiled water wall and treetops dabbled with the twinkling of hung market lights.
Topaz Room
Approximately 484 square feet | up to 30 guests
One of our newest meeting spaces adjacent to the main lobby, with natural light, a built-in fireplace and flat panel TV for AV needs. This rooms is perfect for up to 20 guests in a meeting setting or 30 guests for a meal function
Emerald Room
Approximately 646 sq.ft. | Up to 30 Guests
The stylish decor and elevated ceilings of Emerald Ballroom create an interesting space that is intriguing to the eye. There is an abundance of natural light and garden views from the south facing windows. The connecting Emerald Terrace provides the perfect complementing space for meals and breaks for up to 30 people.
Platinum Ballroom
Approximately 2,496 sq.ft. | Up to 150 Guests
Our most spacious room, the Platinum Ballroom is the perfect environment for a business meeting or gathering up to 150 people. With stylish and tasteful decor, gorgeous French doors that lead out towards two outdoor terraces, and elegant indoor lighting, your group gathering is sure to be flawless.
Library
Approximately 850 sq.ft. | Up to 40 Guests
With stylish bookshelves and seaside decor, our Library embodies the coastal estate home style of L’Auberge Del Mar. Perfect for groups up to 40, this space provides a more intimate setting with a small outdoor terrace ideal for breakfast and meal buffets.
Boardroom
Approximately 676 sq.ft. | Up to 12 Guests
Inspired by the Del Mar locale, the Boardroom seats up to 12 and features ocean images by renound photographer Aaron Chang, a classic world-champion Joel Tudor long board, and a custom glass light fixture curated by local artist James Stone.
Sapphire Room
Approximately 665 sq.ft. | Up to 30 Guests
Whether your gathering is for business or social, this room provides a warm, sunlit environment perfect for any function up to 30 people. There is a small outdoor patio for breaks and is also just a short walk from Ocean Terrace for breakfast, lunch, or reception.
Jade Room
Approximately 504 sq.ft. | Up to 20 Guests
Perfect for an intimate meeting or gathering up to 20 people, our Jade Room features the tasteful design and décor of L’Auberge Del Mar plus natural lighting and views of the adjacent Emerald Terrace.
Pacific Terrace
Approximately 5,016 sq.ft. | Up to 200 Guests
With elevated views of the Pacific Ocean, village shops, and interior courtyard of our boutique resort, Pacific Terrace is our premium outdoor space for events and group gathering. This spacious deck can accommodate up to 200 guests for a ceremony, reception, or meal with the Del Mar coastline and scenic village as your panoramic backdrop.
Sunset Terrace
Approximately 2,522 sq.ft. | Up to 200 Guests
Located in the resort’s ocean view courtyard, Sunset Terrace is the perfect fit for intimate ceremonies, cocktail receptions, or outdoor dining. With unforgettable sunset views, this location can accommodate up to 120 guests for a ceremony and 200 guests for cocktail receptions.
Emerald Terrace
Approximately 646 sq.ft. | Up to 40 Guests
Surrounded by lush gardens and views of Spa L’Auberge, this patio provides a relaxing and tranquil environment for breakfast, breaks, lunch, or reception for up to 40 guests.
Ocean Terrace
Approximately 352 sq.ft. | Up to 20 Guests
Our most intimate setting, with stunning views of the coastline, Ocean Terrace is suited for groups up to 20. It is ideal for private meals or an intimate reception, all while taking in the coastal views!
Pearl
Approximately 363 square feet | up to 12 guests
The perfect private dining room adjacent to our award-winning Adelaide restaurant, this room provides a stylish and unique dining or small board meeting option.
The Jim Watkins Amphitheater
Approximately 1,474 sq.ft. | Up to 100 Guests
Dedicated to our founder, Jim Watkins, the Amphitheater is a park-like setting ideal for social gatherings up to 100 guests. This location is the cornerstone of our community and features views of the village and surrounding gardens.
Seagrove Park
Up to 200 Guests
Just steps from the resort, Seagrove Park offers breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean in a natural setting. This ocean-front space can accommodate a ceremony for up to 200 guests, and is a picturesque, serene location for all events and gatherings. It is the perfect place to allow your guests to sit back, relax, and enjoy the sea breeze.
Del Mar Train Station
Up to 120 Guests
Built in 1912, this historic train station is the perfect backdrop for a seaside event. The spacious lawn area and cozy terrace accommodate groups of 20 to 120 for reception or meals. It’s also the perfect ocean front location for team building, exhibits, or vehicle displays.
